Many companies rely on accurate and traceable pressure calibration of their measurement equipment, and need specialist support that they can count on. At Minerva Metrology & Calibration, we’ve been supporting calibration laboratories and departments with service, maintenance and recalibration of their own primary and secondary standards for more than 30 years.
That is why your most accurate pressure and pressure calibration measurement instruments are in good hands with us.
With a fast, reliable and clear process, we do everything we can to provide you with a worry-free traceability.
What is pressure calibration?
In many machines and devices, pressure measurement is used for optimal performance of the device or process in question. Think of your own natural gas meter, ventilators and instruments in the cockpit of an aircraft – or processes in refining, food, chemical and power plants.
Pressure calibration is the comparison of a pressure measurement instrument (machine) or device with a calibration standard in order to determine the measurement deviation (bias).
We do this by comparing with a calibration reference or calibration standard, comparing a number of measurement values of the instrument with a pressure standard that can be traced back to a (inter)national standard.
In physics, pressure is typically measured in units of force per unit of surface area. The SI unit of pressure is the pascal (Pa), but from the past the ‘bar’ and the ‘atmosphere’ are still used while in the USA the ‘psi’ (pounds per square inch) is the most commonly used measurement unit for pressure.
Why use Miverva Calibrations for your pressure calibration needs?
Our team works with more than 1,000 customers in 69 countries. We have built up long-term relationships with many companies, who choose us because we believe in technology and innovation. However, calibration service is human work, so at Minerva, you can always count on a permanent contact person who offers you a personal service. This can be a lifeline when your instrument needs quick and effective maintenance.
Our customer feedback highlights our expertise in maintaining, repairing and calibrating the most precise equipment. Our innovative and ISO/ IEC 17025 accredited lab is equipped with high-quality and precise measurement equipment, meaning we are able to calibrate your pressure equipment to the highest standards, so that you get the best possible measurement results.
Time and time again we exceed the high standards set by our customers – NMI’s and high-tech companies in aerospace, gas and oil, pharma, electronics and transport measurements (custody transfer point) for natural gas.
At Minerva Calibrations we also understand that sending your instrument for repair or calibration is never convenient. That is why the Minerva online portal facilitates direct insight into the service process. This way you are able to follow the service progress from day to day.
